This applies to your profile page as well. Despite the fact that IPB has a space for "Your Website", you CANNOT put a link to an offsite location that is not affiliated with Fanfictionworld.net websites. This is ESPECIALLY true with other boards that may be in direct competition with our sites!
In your role-playing posts, this means not only direct links (those you click on) but also references to other sites. The ONLY exception to this is if you are acknowledging a copyright reference (example: *the quote above came from QuatationsRus.com). It is never appropriate to refer to sites such as YouTube or other music sites while you are role-playing! We cannot vouch for the content on these sites, and because this board prides itself as being family-friendly, we do not want to direct members to sites with questionable content.
In the OOC areas of the board (like Your Plots forum), the rules are a little more lenient for links (for instance, we DO allow some game, quiz or questionnaire-type links that may have something to do with building character traits). However, the staff still reserves the right to remove any links found to be inappropriate, and ALL links must be rated.
