If you are an existing member considering creating an alter this weekend -- or even a new member thinking of registering -- you should look at these numbers with a little bit of forethought. If you are registering a female character in the hopes of her finding romance -- you might want to think again. The odds are, frankly, against you.
But if you've ever considered creating a male character, this should give you further food for thought. Every handler of boy characters that I've spoken with have enjoyed playing them tremendously. They say they are more fun, often freer to act impulsively, and can "speak" more openly as a boy character than they did with a girl character.
So give some thought to this if you plan on registering a new account -- it might be a nice change for you to try "handling" a male!
